ANGULAR DISTRIBUTION IN II$Yields$$mu$$+$$nu$ DECAY. PART II

A study of the angular distribution of 8669 mu mesons resulting from II decay at rest in nuclear emulsion is made using area scanning, looking for mu ends. The results give no backward-forward asymmetry, contrasting with other results obtained in the same plates with area scanning, looking for II- mu vertices. Thus the conclusion that the backward-forward asymmetry found in these plates was due to bias is enforced. (auth)
