On the Violation of the Full Symmetry in Leptonic Decays of Baryons and Mesons

The leptomic decays of baryons and mesons are investigated with particular attentiom to the violation of the full symmetry in the Sakata model. It is assumed that the weak interactions causing such decays break the equality between neutron and A-particle in a certain systematic way. The DELTA Q = - DELTA S leptonic decays can be treated and results consistent with the recent experiments are obtained, while the T-invariance is broken to some extent. The pi /sup o'/ meson is found to have little effect on the spectrum in the K/sub e3/ and pi /sub e3/ decays. The existence of two kinds of neutrinos may be understood if a restricted symmetry between basic particles and leptons is assumed.
