Title: A NEW METHOD IN THE QUANTUM MECHANICAL TRANSPORT THEORY AND THE DISSIPATION- FLUCTUATION THEOREM FOR THERMAL DISTURBANCES

The validity of the dissipation-fluctuation theorem for transport processes induced by thermal disturbances is examined. The theorem is found to hold rigorously in the limit of vanishing thermal disturbances. (L.B.S.)
