TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF THE RATIO d$sub 33$/d$sub 31$ IN POLYCRYSTALLINE BARIUM TITANATE AND LEAD ZIRCONATE-TITANATE

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4102174
The piezoelectric ratio d/sub 33//d/sub 31/ was calculated using the resonant-antiresonant measurements of the radial mode of vibration in disks and the thickness mode of vibration in long rods. At - 7O to +70 deg C this ratio was found to vary as much as 30% in some barium-titanate specimens, but was constant for lead zirconate--titanante. (auth)
