A survey of the current status of elementary particle physics is presented. Tables are given showing the total number of particles known today and their characteristics. The laws of charge independence, conservation of strangeness, conservation of baryons, and parity conservation are discussed. Strong and weak interactions are treated. The role of bubble chambers and other equipment in elementary particle physics is discussed. (D.L.C.)
