STATISTICAL THEORY OF MULTIPLE PARTICLE PRODUCTION WITH ANGULAR MOMENTUM CONSERVATION

A new formulation of the statistical theory of multiple particle production is investigated, in which the angular momentum of the system is strictly conserved and which can thus be applied to the analysis of peripheral collisions and the angular distribution of secondary particles.
