HEPATIC LESIONS PRODUCED BY IRRADIATION OF THE ANIMAL IN HIBERNATION. HISTOLOGICAL AND HISTOCHEMICAL STUDY (in French)

Journal Article · · Annales de Radiologie (France)
OSTI ID:4094923
A comparative study was made of histological and histochemical changes in the liver of porcupines irradiated with varying doses during the waking state and during natural hibernation. There was a considerable decrease in the number of lesions in animals irradiated during hibernation. This phenomenon was interpreted in terms of current radiobiological knowledge. (auth)
