N = Z even-even nuclei in the 2s-1d shell

The ground-state properties of N = Z even-even 2s-1d shell nuclei are studied within the framework of the Hartree-Fock approximation exploying the modified Yale potential and the supersoft core potential. Shell-model spaces of various sizes are used. The results are compared with similar but less sophisticated calculations published earlier. (AIP)
