Cancer mortality among uranium mill workers

Conference ·
OSTI ID:4088511
Mortality from all causes was determined for a small group of uranium mill workers. The only specific cause of death which demonstrated a significant excess was malignant disease of the lymphatic and hematopoietic tissue. Data from animal experiments suggests that this excess may have resulted from irradiation of lymph nodes by thorium-230. (auth)
