Mgdspace propulsion system for lunar missions
The mission capability of an MGD propulsion system is investigated, and the advantages in using it for lunar ferry missions are discussed. Compared with either an ion engine or arc-jet engine the MGD propulsion system yields either shorter trip duration or larger payload for equal power/weight ratio.
