A LOW-BACKGROUND BETA SCINTILLATION COUNTING METHOD

For measurements of minute beta activities a scintillating counter was used, whose mean background counts were 0.44 cpm. The low background pulses were obtained without applying the anticoincidence system, by using a detector constructed from scintillating plastic foil 0.3 mm thick. (auth)
