Journal Article · · Can. Welder Fabricator
OSTI ID:4084085
ABS>Techniques and equipment for TIG welding successive lengths of 304L stainless steel, A179 plain carbon steel, and Cu-Ni tubing for use in nuclear reactors are described. The effects of oxidation on the mechanlcal strength were determined and the results of radiographic and metallographic examination are given. Included is a table of typical weld cycle conditions for producing high quality welds. (Rev. Metal Lit., 2: No. 1, Jan. 1964)
