ON THE SECONDARY PROCESSES IN PION PRODUCTION ON NUCLEI

The calculation of pion production in p-C collisions at 660 Mev was performed by the Monte Carlo method. It is shown that pion scattering (with charge-exchange) changes essentially pion angular distributions and the ratio of positive and negative pion yields. The obtained angular dependence of this ratio is in agreement with experimental data. (auth)
