RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN RARE-EARTH MOSSBAUER STUDIES. PART I

Journal Article · · Reviews of Modern Physics (U.S.)
Recent nuclear resonance fluorescence experiments with low-energy gamma rays of rare-earth nuclides using the Mossbauer effect are described. Hyperfine interactions of nuclear states with a rare-earth ion in a solid and isomeric shifts of transitions in rare earths are discussed. 31 references. (R.E.U.)
