Capture width of the 6.67 eV level in $sup 238$U

In a comparison between a Monte Carlo calculation and a measurement of the capture probability in a thick sample of $sup 238$U it has been suggested that the width of the 6.67 eV level might be appreciably smaller than the value 25.6 MeV, evaluated in Version III and IV of ENDF/B. A few comments are made on this topic. (SDF).
