Measurements of neutron cross sections were carried out by the relative activation methed at an energy range of E/sub n/ = 0.03 to 2.1 Mev. The reaction T(p,n)He/sup 3/ from the Van de Graaff accelerator was used as the neutron source. The activation at E/sub n/<300 kev was made at 95 deg to the proton beam and at E/sub n/) 300 kev at 0 deg . The distribution of 200-kev neutrons was plus or minus 12 to 20 kev and for neutrons with higher energies up to plus or minus 30 to 40 kev. The energy distribution was determined by the errors in U/sup 235/ fission cross sections ( approximately 25% at E/sub n/ < 60 kev, approximately 12% at E/sub n/ = 60 to 150 kev, and approximately 8% at E/sub n/> 150 kev). Cross sections of radiative capture of fast neutrons by V/sup 51/, Nb/sup 93/, W/ sup 186/, and TI/sup 2/ s/sup 05/ are plotted. (R.V.J.)
