THE BERYLLIDES OF Ti, V, Cr, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, AND Ta
A thorough x-ray-diffraction study was made of the beryllides of Ti, V, Cr, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, and Ta. Cell lengths were determined from powder patterns photographed with chromium or copper K alpha x rays. Both the titanium and hafnium systems exhibited two diferent structures for the M/sub 2/Be/sub 17/ composition. (M.C.G.)
