REDETERMINATION OF THE PANOFSKY RATIO FOR NEGATIVE PIONS STOPPED IN HYDROGEN

BS>A lead-glass Cherenkov counter was used as a gamma -ray spectrometer to redetermine the Panofsky ratio for negative pions stopped in hydrogen. The ratio was found to be 1.56 plus or minus 0.05. (auth)
