PROTON ANGULAR DISTRIBUTIONS FROM O$sup 18$(d,p)O$sup 19$ AT Ed = 7.0 Mev

The angular distributions of protons corresponding to the 0-, 0.096-, 1.47-, and;.35-Mev O/sup 19/ states from the reaction O/sup 18/(d,p)O/sup 19/ and of elastically scattered deuterons by O/sup 18/ were measured at a bombarding energy of 7 Mev. DWBA analyses of the distributions were performed, and some results from these calculations are shown. For the (d,p) transitions to the ground state and 1.47-Mev state, the spectroscopic factors agree well with those obtained from PWBA analyses as well as with those previously measured at 15-Mev deuteron energy. The proton angnlar distributions corresponding to the 0.096- and 2.35-Mev states in O/sup 19/ could not be well fitted with stripping predictions. (auth)
