The effect of emulsion distortion on measurements of Coulomb multiscattering is discussed, and criteria for choosing the length of the cells for various cases are given. An attempt is made to use a measuring method for small cells (center-of-mass method) to reduce the effect of noise in the high energy region, and satisfactory results are obtained. The method of highest difference of coordinates was combined with the method for small cells, and results in agreement with experiment were obtained. The method of highest difference of coordinates effectively removes distortion and may be used for measuring oblique tracks. (tr-auth)
