ABS>Lanthanum and neodymium trifluoroacetates were prepared and characterized by analysis, crystallography, density, and solubility. When heated, these compounds decompose to form quantitative yields of metal fluoride, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and trifluoroacetyl fluonide. (auth)
