MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC CHANNEL FLOW OF ROTATING FLUID

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4061784
Considerations are given for a incompressible, visc electrically conducting fluid in steady flow in a long cylindrical channel to which an external torque is applied to make the fluid rotate. Determinations were made of the distribution of rotational velocity in the channel, and the effects of the motion of the fluid on an uniformly applied magnetic field. (B.O.G.)
