An integral representation of the vertex part in perturbation theory is studied. This representation is a function of two mass variables. It is shown that, regardless of the validity of the Dyson integral representation of the vacuum expectation value for a double commutator, the integral representation of the vertex part is valid in every order of perturbation theory.
