The basic principles and techniques found necessary for the establishment and maintenance of an adequate control system for nuclear materials used in reactor fuel fabrication are discussed in terms of: process technology; measurement technology; records and reports; and analysis and control. As an aid in the application of the general principles for the control of the fuel fabrication materials, typical examples of practices used of recommended for similar operations in the United States are presented.
