REPRESENTATION OF ANGULAR DISTRIBUTION DATA BY A LEGENDRE POLYNOMIAL EXPANSION

Transformation matrices are presented for use in fitting angular distribution data in terms of a Legendre polynomial expaansion. These matrices are computed by a FORTRAN II program for the situations when the experimental data can be adequately represented by eleven or twenty-one points. A listing of the FORTRAN-II program is included. (auth)
