A scintillation neutron recording method using the ( gamma ,n) reaction in beryllium oxide was suggested for determining Be in large samples. The gamma source was Sb. For an exposure time of 10 min and a 10-mC source, the sensitivity threshold was 0.002% BeO. (tr-auth)
