CONSERVATION LAWS IN GENERAL RELATIVITY

The general relativity conservation laws are formulated in the Riemannian geometry, in order that the GaussOstrogradzki theorem might be applied. A tetrad field of vectors is introduced, by means of which any tensor of higher rank than four can be reduced to an equivalent set of vectors. This tetrad field is used to clarify concepts of energy-momentum currents, angular momentum currents, and flat space properties. (T.F.H.)
