Isotopic Analysis of Uranium by /cap alpha/ Spectrometry; ANALYSE ISOTOPIQUE DE L'URANIUM PAR SPECTROMETRIE /cap alpha/

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4053578
If the alpha spectra of the separated isotopes of natural uranium are known, the isotopic abundance of a sample of enriched uranium can be deduced. The alpha spectra are obtained by the pulsed ionization chamber method. alpha spectrometry is of particular interest for all measurements where the influence of U/sup 2//sup 3//sup 4/ may be neglected.
