TERRESTRIAL-FIELD MAGNETOMETER USING NUCLEAR PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE WITH DYNAMIC POLARISATION OF THE NUCLEI. I. THEORETICAL BASIS. II. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION (in French)

Journal Article · · Onde elec.
OSTI ID:4052833
A brief survey of nuclear magnetic resonance principles is presented. Dynamic polarization is defined. Some results of the operating theories of a nuclear auto-oscillator were used to determine the main characteristics of an earth-magnetic-field meter. Conditions for autooscillation, the auto-osicllation range, frequency pulling, and precision were determined. The design and construction of a terrestrial-field magnetometer using these principles are described. (auth)
