/cap. lambda/-PARTICLE BINDING IN NUCLEAR MATTER

Using the separation method, a calculation has been made of the depth of the LAMBDA -nucleon potential in nuclear matter. The result, viz. E/sub LL/ = 22.56 Mev, is quite close to the empirical value 21.7 Mev derived from the systematics of hynernuclei. (auth)
