Results are reported from measurements of environmental radioactivity due to fallout in samples collected throughout Italy from July through December 1962. Data are included on tothl BETA activity or content of selected fission products in samples of surface water, drinking water, sea water, air, plants, milk, bones, fish, snails, and soil. The fission products included /sup 89/Sr, / sup 90/Sr, /sup 137/Cs, /sup 95/Zr, /sup 95/Nb, /sup 141/Ce, / sup 103/Ru, and / sup 106/Ru. (C.H.)
