Closely packed uranium may be used to capture leakage neutrons. Some experiments have been carried out in the centre of ZEEP to check calculations. These experiments used natural uranium, 3.25 cm diameter Zeep rods, immersed in D{sub 2}. Experimental results are shown in various figures and tables.
