AN INTERFEROMETER FOR ISOTOPE ANALYSIS (in Japanese)

Journal Article · · Osaka Kogyo Gijutsu Shikensho Kiho
OSTI ID:4031725
An interferometer for analyzing the isotopic composition of elements was constructed. The interferometer is composed of a scanning Fabry-Perot etalon and a photoelectric recording system. A device using a CdS cell and an electromagnet controls the pressure. Using this interferometer, the amount of Li-6 in a natural Li sample was determined to be 7.2 plus or minus 0.5%.
