Presented is a method for nonstationary response analysis of an offshore guyed tower subjected to strong earthquake motion under moderate random sea waves and current loadings. After the nonlinear equation of motion for the multiple loadings is linearized, the response analysis is carried out separately for the stationary waves, and the nonstationary earthquake load. The stationary response due to small random waves is obtained using frequency domain method. The non-stationary response due to earthquake load is obtained in terms of time dependent variances. Then, the results are combined. Through the example analyses, the nonstationary method developed in this study is verified, and the contributions of the earthquake, wave and current loadings to the total maximum response are investigated.
