THE RELATIVE BIOLOGICAL EFFECT OF P*SUP 32/ *beta/ RADIATION. II. COMPARISON OF P*SUP 32/ RADIATION AND X-RAYS AS TO THEIR BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS ON THE GROWTH OF PEA RADICLES AND MITOTIC FUNCTIONS IN VICIA FABA RADICLES (in Polish)

Journal Article · · Acta Physiol. Polon.
OSTI ID:4030196
Results sre reported from a study on the comparative biological effects of BETA particles from P/sup 3//sup 2/ and 70 kv x rays on the growth of pea radicles and mitotic function in Vicia faba. Beta particles were less effective than x radiation in producing biological effects. (C. H.)
