Preparation and investigation of rare earth antimonates Ln$sub 2$Ln'SbO$sub 7$(Ln,Ln' = Lu, Y, Gd, or Ga) with the aid of Eu$sup +3$ doping (in French)

Rare-earth antimonates Ln$sub 2$Ln'SbO$sub 7$(Ln, Ln' = Lu, Y, Gd, or Ga) have been prepared with pyrochlore structure. Excitation and emission spectra of these host lattices doped with Eu$sup 3+$, reveal two sites for Ln$sup 3+$ and Ln'$sup 3+$. The symmetry of these sites is not D/sub 3d/ as in the pyrochlore structure but could be C/sub 3v/.
