Methods for radiochemical preparation of meteorite samples for counting of the long-lived nuclides /sup 36/Cl, /sup 26/Al, and /sup 10/Be are given. An anticoincidence arrangement was used for counting. Calibration procedures are described. Absolute disintegration rates for 8 meteorites are given. Four of these have a radiation age of 4 x 10/sup 8/ y. The disintegration rate varies approximately inversely to meteorite mass. Related production rates are calculated. (Gmelin Inst.)
