Observation of the surface-enhanced Raman scattering spectrum of uranyl ion

The surface-enhanced Raman spectrum (SERS) of uranyl ion in uranyl nitrate complex is reported. This is the first work to show a SERS enhancement for an inorganic species on silver.(AIP)
