APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATIC TREATMENT OF PHOTOGRAPHS OBTAINED FROM BUBBLE CHAMBERS

Journal Article · · Nuclear Instr. & Methods
An automatic apparatus is described that is designed to scan the coordinatss of particle tracks on photographs taken from bubble chambers. The accuracy of the coordinate measurements on the film is 2 to 4 microns. The tracking velocity over the film is 3 mm/sec. The coordinate readings are punched on perforated tape, and they may be fed into electronic computers for further mathematical treatment. (anth)
