FLUX AND ENERGY SPECTRA OF THE PROTONS IN THE INNER VAN ALLEN BELT

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. Letters
The fluxes and energy spectra of protons in the inner Van Allen belt are measured as functions of positions in the belt. Emulsion data are analyzed from a rocket flown to a height of about 2000 km, at latitudes between 15 and 35 deg N. The data are studied for protons with energies from 8 to 100 Mev, at altitudes above 1600 km. (T.F.H.)
