The melting points of metal sheets of W, Ta, Mo, snd Nb were measured in order to test the reproducibility of a melting point apparatus ior a ZrC - TaC study. Melting point measurements were then made on bars of ZrC, TaC, NbC, TaC + 25 wt.% graphite, NbC + 25 wt.% graphite, and 4 TaC - ZrC. (D.L.C.)
