Leptonic decays of mesons in an approximation to the MIT bag model

The MIT bag model is used to compute certain electromagnetic and weak leptonic decay rates of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons. Because of the limitations inherent in the cavity approximation it is found that generally the results are not in good agreement with experiment. (AIP)
