Fifty-seven abstracts concerning niobium alloys which may be useful as cladding material for water cooled reactors, especially for nuclear superheaters, have been assembled. The material presented in this survey has been divided into two parts. The first part contains abstracts of papers originating from Battelle Memorial Institute, as the most important work has hitherto been carried out there; the second part presents papers from other sources. This survey is to be considered as a supplement to VDIT-34 from March 1961. (auth)
