MEASUREMENTS OF ELECTRON CASCADES IN LEAD USING A BUBBLE CHAMBER (in German)

Thesis/Dissertation ·
OSTI ID:4013962
Electron-photon cascades were studied with a bubble chamber using electrons with energies of 380, 200, and 100 Mev from an electron synchrotron. The number of showers was large enough to permit determination of angular distributions. Results indicate that the importance of multiple scattering in lead is underestimated in all existing theories. (Gmelin lnst.)
