States in $sup 15$N populated by the $sup 11$B($sup 6$Li, d) and $sup 11$B($sup 7$Li, t) reactions

Angular distributions have been measured in the angular range from 2.5degree to 30degree (lab) for the $sup 11$B($sup 6$Li, d)$sup 15$N and $sup 11$B($sup 7$Li, t)$sup 15$N reactions at E ($sup 6$$,$$sup 7$Li) =34 MeV. The ($sup 7$Li, t) reaction is slightly more selective than the ($sup 6$Li, d) reaction, but neither reaction has the selectivity of three-particle transfer reactions which also populate states in $sup 15$N. The shapes of the measured angular distributions were not sufficiently distinctive to permit L transfer values to be extracted for the most strongly excited states. The present work indicates that of the states in $sup 15$N (10.70, 13.1, and 15.5 MeV) which have been proposed as having a large $sup 12$C + t cluster component, only the 15.5 MeV state has a large cluster component corresponding to $sup 11$B+$alpha$.
