Search for the decay K$$o\atop{S}$$ → π+π-πo

A spark chamber experiment was run at Argonne National Laboratory to search for the decay K$$o\atop{S}$$ → π+π-πo. CP does not forbid this decay, but the CP conserving states are strongly suppressed by centrifugal barriers. The method was used to measure the time distribution of K$$o\atop{S}$$ → π+π-πo would indicate probably CP violation in this decay mode.
