ON THE POLARIZATION OF PROTONS IN (d,p) STRIPPING REACTIONS

The polarization and angular distribution of the ejected protons are given as functions of the polarization of the incident deuterons, assuming unpolsrized target nuclei. A distorted-wave Born approximation is used to give the scattering amplitude. Special cases are examined, including that of unpolarized deuterons. (T. F.H.)
