The design and development of corrosion test loops for studying refractory alloys in boiling and condensing sodium and potassium are summarized. The design and fabrication of Component Evaluation Test Loop II, the single-phase forced-circulation sodium loop, operated at 2100 deg F are completed. The design of the Pre-prototype Corrosion Test Loop, a two loop system is being continued. Test Loop I, the natural convection sodium loop, is being helium leak tested and baked out at 250 deg F. The helium purification system and helium analysis system are described and evaluated. (N.W.R.)
