Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4009981
Monte Carlo Volume Approximation (GE-ANPD Program 708) is a digital computer program which applies a Monte Carlo method for approximating the volumes of any number of various shaped regions, which may appear in various configurations. All volumes are approximated at the same time. The program is coded in FAP for an IBM-7090 computer, with the amount of input determining the amount of fast memory required. The program proper requires only the first 2600/ sub 1//sub 0/ storage locations. Magnetic tape units are used solely for input and output using one data channel. (auth)
