SPHERE ROTATION IN LARGE REYNOLDS' NUMBER VISCOUS CONDUCTING FLUID IN MAGNETIC FIELD (in Russian)

The problem of a rapidly rotating sphere in a viscous conducting fluid with a large Reynolds number and a boundary layer was resolved for the case in which the magnetic number is small and the induced field is smaller than the external. The distribution of induced currents in the sphere was found, and an integral method was used for determining boundary layer pararaeters and the retarding moment. (R.V.J.)
